Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver ongoing professional development services to staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct comprehensive new employee orientation and coordinate competency completion, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Deliver annual mandatory and continuous education for staff, adhering to state and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Teach in-house courses, such as the CNA training program and special care unit training, to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Coordinate the employee health program, including immunizations, flu shots, and physical exams, to promote a healthy work environment.
  • Monitor and ensure current licensure and certifications of facility staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
