Responsibilities- Collect high-quality blood samples using various phlebotomy methods for patients of all ages.
- Provide rapid response to medical emergencies, such as traumas and codes.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate patient identification, specimen labeling, handling, and transportation.
- Utilize computer programs and systems to manage daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Assist with the training of students and new employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Ability to push a cart and walk distances.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid phlebotomy certification from an approved agency, such as ASCP, NHA, or ASPT.
