This role supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora and Centennial Medical Plaza by enhancing the quality of life for all individuals served, addressing not only medical needs but also the holistic needs of the patient.

The Critical Care RN is responsible for overseeing and directing the care of critically ill patients, including those with high acuity and critical trauma, as well as general surgical, medical, neuro, and cardiovascular interventions. This role involves leading the collaboration of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

The Critical Care RN also supervises assistive personnel, maintaining accountability for the care provided to assigned patients.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
BLS – Healthcare provider and ACLS certification required through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Critical care experience is preferred.

  • Special Qualifications: Strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members. Ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively to ensure quality patient care.
