Position SummaryThe ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction-related tasks, including the installation of erosion control measures and other site management activities. The role involves operating a pickup truck with a trailer and working primarily on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
- Install a range of erosion control products, such as silt fences and compost filter socks.
- Complete daily tasks efficiently as directed by the crew lead.
- Load and unload materials and equipment necessary for job completion.
- Utilize heavy-duty hand tools and occasionally operate small machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in safety meetings and briefings as required.
- Ensure job sites are left clean and presentable upon completion.
- Accurately complete necessary documentation.
- Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Valid Driver's License is required; experience driving with a trailer is advantageous.
- Ability to operate skid steers or mini excavators is a plus.
- Physical capability to handle heavy materials and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
