Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our team as an Independent Insurance Agent on a 1099 basis. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling various insurance products to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prospect and Generate Leads: Utilize various sales techniques to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales.

  3. Product Education: Educate clients on various insurance products, explaining coverage details, benefits, and exclusions.
  4. Customized Solutions: Customize insurance solutions to meet the individual needs of clients, providing tailored recommendations and quotes.
  5. Relationship Building: Follow up with leads and clients to nurture relationships, address concerns, and overcome objections.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to expedite the application and approval process.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.
  8. Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics established by the company.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions using CRM software or other tracking systems.
  10. Professionalism: Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a commission-based environment.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads and manage customer relationships.
  • Active Insurance License: Active insurance license in the required state(s).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
