Job Description

Position Summary

Glass Roots Construction, LLC is a leading provider of fiber optic utility construction services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Control Specialist to join our team. As a QA/QC Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our project management team to develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of construction data and documentation, including bore logs and utility locates.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track project performance.
  • Provide training and guidance to construction crews on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our quality control processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
