Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based position. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Pacific Coast Speech Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, from birth to 22 years old, and make a meaningful impact on their communication and learning abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose language and speech disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support
  • Collect and analyze data to measure student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Document student activities, progress, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • California Speech Pathologist license (SLP) or eligible for a CA preliminary RPE license
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required
  • Computer-literate and proficient in special education computer programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
