Early Childhood Educator

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our Pediatric Skilled Nursing (PSN) team at the Centers for Independence.
**About the Role:**
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized educational programs for students with special healthcare needs, including assessment, curriculum implementation, physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop daily program plans, curriculum, and materials in collaboration with therapy staff and childcare teaching assistants.
- Direct individual and small group instruction to implement child-based educational and developmental goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of individual children's educational progress and develop strategies to support their needs.
- Demonstrate sensitivity and ability to work with a diverse population of children with special health care needs.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and the child's support team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience working with young children in a city environment with special health care needs.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, techniques, and developmentally appropriate practices.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and paid time off.
