Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. The successful candidate will ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
  • Load customer orders properly on the truck
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
  • Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintain the store vehicle and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints
  • Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
  • Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate from a Department of Transportation licensed medical examiner
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience working as a delivery driver
  • Experience using material handling equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
