The Wealth Portfolio Management Group is tasked with the daily oversight of client portfolios. The Wealth Portfolio Manager delivers portfolio management services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and institutional accounts within the Private Bank, ensuring compliance with all portfolio management regulations. This role is situated in the middle office and does not involve direct client interaction, focusing instead on managing daily strategies, objectives, risk/return profiles, and liquidity requirements for clients. The portfolio manager collaborates with internal teams, including client-facing wealth advisors, to gain insights into client needs and restrictions, ensuring effective portfolio management.
  • Oversee investment, trust, and institutional accounts.
  • Rebalance portfolios in accordance with the client's investment policy statement, guided by the asset allocation strategy team and advisory team.
  • Accountable for initial funding allocations, annual reviews, initial assessments, concentrated asset management, and divestiture strategies.
  • Analyze and address exception reports related to asset allocation and performance discrepancies.
  • Possess a deep understanding of client relationships to formulate investment strategies that align with both firm objectives and client expectations.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in the financial services sector is essential.
  • A demonstrated enthusiasm and comprehension of investment solutions is required.
  • Proficient experience in ultra-high-net-worth investment offerings, utilizing advanced investment products.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3-10 years of experience in investment portfolio construction.
  • 3-10 years of experience in asset allocation assessment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Investment Policy Statements.
  • Experience in performance evaluation and analysis.
  • Background in portfolio construction and trading.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Master's Degree is advantageous.
  • CFA certification is strongly preferred or at least Level III.
Work Schedule
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday.
