WORK SCHEDULE FOR A LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
This full-time position typically follows a schedule of Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Maintain the grounds and remove litter on a daily basis.
- Clear snow from walkways and driveways.
- Apply salt on public pathways to prevent ice accumulation.
- Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs; water lawns and shrubs; prune as necessary.
- Repair fences, gates, walls, and pathways; paint fences and outbuildings.
- Clear drainage ditches and culverts.
- Sweep sidewalks and curbs; keep breezeways tidy.
- Assist with preparing units for new occupants by removing appliances and performing necessary tasks.
- Adhere to all workplace regulations, particularly those related to safety and health.
- Exhibit teamwork and self-motivation.
- Complete mandatory safety training.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
