Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Technician

At Aequor Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, coordinating work activities, and ensuring customer service needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting across all site automation technologies
  • Resolve issues and improve operations by making necessary logic changes, recommending equipment upgrades, and developing new processes and procedures
  • Perform calibrations and corrective actions on production, facility, and utility equipment
  • Maintain equipment performance by providing troubleshooting and ensuring reliability
  • Perform preventive, corrective, or emergency work orders and respond to service calls while the plant is in operation
  • Assist in the review of PLC or HMI program logic during certifications or troubleshooting
  • Develop or update machine logic and execute test protocols
  • Maintain primary, secondary, and working calibration standards
  • Review calibration data sheets and identify out-of-tolerance conditions
  • Execute test protocols and consult with Engineers, vendors, or project managers on results and feedback
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in instrumentation, measurement, control, and/or troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated understanding of calibration methodology, loop-checking, advanced maintenance, and repair of instrumentation, automation, process control systems, and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of schematics, P&ID drawings, and ISA symbols & numbering
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail orientation, and ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to maintain accurate records
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply all relevant Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
Language Skills:

English - fluent - Read/Write/Speak

A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required for this position.
