Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Café Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our prepared foods team, you will be responsible for preparing fresh food items daily, following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will ensure that our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare fresh food items daily, following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken.
• Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.

What You'll Do:

As a Café Associate, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

Be a Team Member:

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
• Communicates effectively with the members of the team.
• Is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.

• Prepares food according to item specifications.
• Understands and plans the future productions and mass productions.
• Prepares for seasonality.
• Adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management.
• Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
• Demonstrates an understanding of product and layout execution.

Be a Techie:

• Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
• Adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.

Be an Owner:

• Drives the performance of the area.
• Utilizes digital tools.
• Manages high exposure and expectations.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise.
• Ensures quality and date control standards.

Eligibility Requirements:
