Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound studies and assisting radiologists and staff physicians in interpreting the results.

**Responsibilities**

* Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies using good judgment and technical skills
* Assess findings in ultrasound examinations and assist in interpreting results
* Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills through relevant continuing education programs
* Participate in patient care and provide excellent service to all patients
* Work independently and interact effectively with physicians, managers, and staff throughout the department and hospital

**Requirements**

* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
* National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
* Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Strong technical skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Minimum of two years of Ultrasound Tech experience
* Graduate from a fully accredited Sonography program
* Active unencumbered Sonography Tennessee state license
* American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification

**COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement**

COVID-19 vaccination with 2 shots and booster is required for this position.
