Job Title: Imaging Service Engineer 2

We are seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer 2 to join our team at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a senior engineer, the Imaging Service Engineer 2 will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments. The successful candidate will interact with clinical health providers to identify technology-based problems and participate in on-the-job training programs to enhance technical, administrative, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments
  • Interact with clinical health providers to identify technology-based problems
  • Participate in on-the-job training programs to enhance technical, administrative, and customer service skills
  • Make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • Scheduling flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation schedule
Requirements:
  • 5 years of imaging experience
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • CT and Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering, or a related field
