About the Job: The Correctional Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to inmates and residents at our facility. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing compassionate care.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental procedures, including examinations, x-rays, and fillings, extractions, and cleanings.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for inmates and residents, taking into account their medical history and current condition.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure seamless care and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential dental records, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in the state of employment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Estimated Salary: $65 - $100 per hour, based on 20 hours per week.
