Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Tropic Supply. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for handling shipping, packaging, and receiving of products and materials, as well as assisting counter sales with customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate sit-down forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to efficiently load and unload trucks and move inventory within the warehouse.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including loading merchandise into vehicles when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to achieve inventory control and cycle count goals.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience operating warehouse tools and equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask accurately.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and handle items up to 75 pounds routinely.
