Role Overview

VIP Technology Solutions Group is a leading provider of turnkey communications technology solutions for businesses across the nation. As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a vital role in our team's success by installing and repairing structured cabling systems, workstations, and servers.

Key Responsibilities

The primary objective of this position is to ensure seamless connectivity and data transmission through the installation of Cat5e/6 Structured Cabling Systems and fiber optic cabling per industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation of structured cabling systems
  • Repair and maintenance of existing cabling infrastructure
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong physical stamina, as the position requires lifting up to 80lbs, climbing ladders up to 28', and working in confined spaces. Additionally, excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members, customers, and management.

Competencies

This role demands a range of technical competencies, including:

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and data transmission
  • Familiarity with structured cabling systems and fiber optic cabling
