This position demands a comprehensive grasp of front-end technologies to create new functionalities, enhance existing features, and improve current technological implementations. The role encompasses mentoring fellow developers, architecting software solutions, maintaining and refining code, writing tests, and resolving issues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and sustain the user interface layer following industry best practices.
  • Work closely with the product team to comprehend project specifications and develop reusable code and libraries.
  • Enhance application performance for speed and scalability.
  • Produce technical documentation, including architectural designs, flow diagrams, and pseudocode.
  • Execute rapid updates to accommodate evolving business and marketing requirements.
  • Create functional and technical documentation for assigned projects.
  • Support team objectives and enhance web development engineering practices.
  • Evaluate and optimize front-end architecture to boost page performance.
  • Utilize SASS to develop responsive layouts and styles.
  • Guide peers and junior developers, offering constructive feedback and insights.
  • Establish and advance standards and best practices for application development.
  • Lead initiatives to modernize the front-end UI layer.
  • Collaborate with global teams on technical implementations and discussions.
  • Assist Technical Leads and Delivery Managers with team updates, technical roadmaps, estimations, and innovation strategies.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5-7+ years of experience in front-end development, crafting semantic and modular code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficient in React.
  • Knowledge of progressive enhancement and mobile-first responsive design.
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging techniques.
  • Experience in developing code compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and automated testing workflows.
  • Expertise in HTML5, SASS/CSS3, and CSS frameworks (e.g., SASS, LESS).
  • Strong knowledge of React, ES6, legacy jQuery stacks, and unit testing with libraries such as Mocha, Jasmine, and Jest.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools (Grunt/Gulp) and common React ecosystem tools, NPM.
  • Understanding of React/JavaScript design patterns (MVC, Flux, Redux, Hooks).
  • Experience with performance optimization tools (YSlow, Pagespeed) and knowledge of Monolithic & Micro Frontend Architectures.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, builds, pipelines, branching, and release activities.
  • Experience with backend technologies like RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
  • Experience in B2B mobile application development for large enterprises.
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
  • Able to review specifications documents and provide technical insights for business solutions.
  • Knowledge of localization/internationalization principles (i10n, i18n).
  • Experience with code quality standards and tools (e.g., Sonar).
  • Familiarity with basic SQL statements (SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE).
