Job Title: Project Manager - Architecture

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Architecture team at Larson Design Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of projects, including design, communications, personnel management, budgets, schedules, quality control, business development, and client communication & relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation & modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Manage clients/projects specific to the discipline and discipline services but can include projects that require multi-discipline services up to $1M revenue.
  • Create and track project budgets & schedules and identify potential issues; oversee sub-consultants; responsible for project profit objectives.
  • Prepare workload forecasting reports and staffing plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, survey, and other rules, regulations, and permitting requirements.
  • Possess knowledge of Codes and Standards applicable to design of projects.
  • Prepare technical and price proposals, statements of interests, amendments, and schedules.
  • Promote, utilize, and support quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors & omissions.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate contract agreement documents for projects. Sign contract agreements within the allotted parameters provided.
  • Identify new markets, develop leads & opportunities, perform business development activities, and pursue new geographies.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members.
  • Direct, mentor, and guide team members and staff; provide annual performance evaluations and career development plans.
  • Manage project risk in accordance with company policy.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture field.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' job-related experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Relevant licensure strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software Knowledge: Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team, possess strong leadership & interpersonal skills, and strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner.
