Job Summary
Western Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced ICC Special Inspector with a strong background in Quality Control and Project Management to join our team in the western United States. As a key member of our construction materials engineering and testing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site observations and inspections to verify compliance with local building codes and project contract documents
- Collect and analyze samples to ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, and NAQTC standards
- Perform quality control tests on construction materials and building components
- Compile detailed records of observations, inspections, and test results
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of construction and inspection standards related to reinforced concrete and masonry structures
- Ability to read and understand structural blueprints and current code requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred but not required
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record and pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50+ pounds
