Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Full-Time Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for transporting clients to and from scheduled appointments and picking up supplies as needed. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.
- Transport clients to and from scheduled appointments and pick up supplies as needed;
- Assure van interiors are kept clean;
- Ensure vans have gas for other drivers;
- Report any maintenance concerns to the COO;
- Maintain all vans by having them serviced on a regular basis;
- Assist the Full-time Driver and COO in communicating transportation needs to staff members.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, and basic map reading experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. You should also be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Additionally, you must be able to effectively present information to consumers, clients, and employees of the organization in one-on-one situations.

The work environment at Nexus Recovery Center is fast-paced and dynamic. You will be working in a moderate noise level environment and will be required to wear a back safety belt when lifting. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouch or crawl, talking or hearing, and tasting or smelling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
