Geotechnical Engineer

Shannon and Wilson is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing site investigations, analyzing data, and providing technical support for design and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site investigations and collect data on soil and rock properties
• Analyze data and provide technical recommendations for design and construction projects
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure successful project outcomes
• Develop and implement geotechnical designs and solutions
• Perform quality control and assurance tasks to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering and MS or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering
• 0-6 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
• Engineer-in-Training Certificate and on track to obtain Professional Engineering (PE) License
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, rock engineering, and geotechnical design
