We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure effective patient care.
  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.
  • Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
  • 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
