Job Title: Yard Jockey

PBNA $26.19 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Yard Jockey to join our team at TransForce. As a Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for safely operating a jockey truck to move trailers within the yard, loading and unloading cargo, and performing other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a jockey truck to move trailers within the yard
  • Load and unload cargo from trailers
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections on equipment
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Work with supervisors and foremen to move raw material loads to dock doors as needed
  • Install and remove trailer stands as necessary
  • Review Bills of Lading for product to be loaded
  • Complete final certification for all outbound loads
  • Process paperwork in the National Inventory System or hand to supervisor
  • Stage pallets and/or load into truck when ready
  • Clean up and maintain proper housekeeping standards in the work area
Requirements:
  • 18 years or older; 21 years or older if CDL required
  • CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)
  • Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable)
  • Follow DOT regulations (if applicable)
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry between 20 and 50 lbs. throughout the shift
  • Comply with all PepsiCo Beverages North America Safety Rules
