Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pit Clerk Casino Host to join our team at Stones Gambling Hall. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless gaming experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain a positive rapport with guests, promoting continued patronage and encouraging repeat business.
  • Provide accurate and timely information about available games, promotions, and seating options, assisting guests in obtaining gaming chips, food, and drinks as needed.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of table games, dealer assignments, and seating arrangements, facilitating smooth game flow and efficient player movement.
  • Monitor and enforce Title 31 policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare and manage PTL documentation, communicating changes to Game Attendants to ensure Title 31 requirements are met.
  • Enroll new players in the Players Club, printing and reprinting player cards or food comp vouchers as necessary.
  • Operate and maintain an accurate poker board waiting list, tracking head counts and player movement.
  • Assist Game Attendants in managing game flow, filling seats, and moving players between tables.
  • Exchange cash for chips or chips for chips at the gaming table, following proper departmental procedures.
  • Maintain accurate Chip Runner inventory and report discrepancies to management.
  • Stock pit supplies as needed and collaborate with Porters to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and chips.
