Working as an Operating Room Nurse is a highly rewarding experience that demands a blend of interpersonal and technical skills. Teamwork is essential in the surgical environment, where collaboration among the surgical team is vital for ensuring patient safety and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the care management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing care for pediatric patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. This includes delegating patient activities as appropriate within your care management role.
- Prior experience in operating room nursing is strongly preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required to meet the professional nursing entry-level standards.
- A valid nursing license in the State of Wisconsin is mandatory.
- Proof of licensure must be provided before commencing employment. Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is also required.
This role will involve rotating on-call duties during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Required Certifications/Licenses:
