About the Role

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a skilled Distribution Driver CDL Class B to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to clients across the state, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Deliver products to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other customer locations, adhering to safe and courteous operation of delivery vehicles.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan trip logistics, obtain necessary documents, and ensure cargo is secured properly to meet safety requirements.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, receiving payment for goods delivered and checking in money and returned goods daily.
  • Record Keeping: Complete all required paperwork daily, including Department of Transportation logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
