Job Description and Duties

The Personnel Supervisor II is responsible for administering all matters related to the personnel and payroll transactions program for Calipatria State Prison. This role involves supervision and operation of the Custody Timekeeping Area of the Personnel Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer personnel and payroll transactions
  • Supervise the Personnel Unit
  • Manage the Custody Timekeeping Area
  • Ensure compliance with personnel and payroll regulations
Working Conditions:
  • Travel may be required
  • Occasional overtime may be required
Special Requirements:
  • Do not include any confidential information on any documents submitted for a job vacancy
  • Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
  • Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process
