Key Responsibilities of the Pump Repair Technician include:

  • Interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Employing micrometers and dial indicators
  • Utilizing various mechanics' hand tools
  • Operating presses, torches, and pullers
  • Aligning pumps and motors
  • Reconstructing mechanical seals

Qualifications for the Pump Repair Technician include:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a Pump Repair environment
  • Proficient understanding of fits and clearances
  • Skilled in reading micrometers and other measuring tools
  • Strong mathematical abilities
  • Experienced in drafting inspection reports

Additional Information:

Compensation Range: $30-$45 DOE

Physical Requirements: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Training/Certifications: Preferred skills include performing laser alignments and taking vibration readings.

Work Schedule: First Shift with potential for Overtime as needed.

Travel Requirements: Not applicable.

Education: High School Diploma required.
