We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center. Responsibilities- Certification and Licensure
- Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho
- BLS certification
- Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- EPIC experience
- Ability to read and interpret tele strips
- Willingness to take students and precept new travelers
- Schedule and Shifts
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Scheduler will schedule travelers, no block scheduling
- 5 weekend shifts in a 6-week period, travelers will be utilized to fill in gaps
- Holiday requirement: yes, if there is a need
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit: Medical Surgical - 6th Floor
- Number of beds: 42
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5, occasional 1:6
- Charge nurse on each shift, with occasional patient assignment
- Nurse aids/patient care techs: 1:8
- RT equipment: CPAP, BiPAP, high flow
- Tele/monitor techs: virtual, RNs required to read and interpret own strips
- Floating Requirements
- Will float between Medical Surgical 5, Medical Surgical 6, and a 9-bed overflow unit
- May float to other like units in the system, including Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
- May float to the ER for holds or 1:1 assignments
- Additional Details
- This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles, candidates' permanent address will be required to confirm they are outside of this radius
