Nutrition Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Therapist to join our team at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. This part-time position offers a competitive salary of $33.65 - $52.32 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package, including an employer-paid pension plan and health insurance. As a nutrition therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our academic medical center.

Job Responsibilities:

1. To deliver nutritional care, treatment, rehabilitation, and education to patients based on individual needs and conditions.
2. To assess nutritional status, including physical assessment components to identify malnutrition, develop care plans, educate patients and families, calculate nutritional intakes, and prepare special diets.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a closely related field approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience as a dietitian in a large hospital or recent graduation from an accredited program with a strong clinical rotation/internship program.
