Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse-Labor and Delivery to join our team at TotalMed for a travel assignment in Camden, New Jersey. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably in a travel assignment setting.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
