Position: Industrial Painter

Overview:

The role of the industrial painter involves executing a range of tasks including surface preparation, painting, and high-pressure washing. This position is temporary, with an anticipated duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including I beams, ground tanks, and handrails.
  • Utilize pressure washing techniques to eliminate significant rust.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in industrial painting.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to complete hiring documentation electronically.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Possess sufficient strength and endurance to carry out the essential duties outlined.
  • Ability to navigate confined spaces and uneven terrain.
  • Full range of motion consistent with age.
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders.
  • Must be able to hear and respond to verbal commands and alarms from colleagues and equipment.
  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination necessary for working at heights and on uneven surfaces.
  • Safety footwear is mandatory.
