About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Beaumont Behavioral Health, a leading provider of behavioral health services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Evaluate Patient Care: Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Lead and Direct Healthcare Teams: Supervise and direct LPNs and MHTs to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, addressing the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families on health-related topics, providing emotional support and guidance to promote optimal health outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and License: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program and hold a current RN license issued by the State of Michigan.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with a strong background in patient care coordination and leadership.
  • Work Hours: Full-time day shift (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.), with rotating holidays and every other weekend.
