Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team at Life Time. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading a variety of group fitness classes, including strength training, cardio, and yoga. You will work closely with our members to provide a safe and engaging workout experience, while promoting our Life Time programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead group fitness classes that are engaging, challenging, and safe for participants.

  • Provide excellent customer service to members, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest fitness trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas and methods into your classes.

  • Collaborate with other team members to promote Life Time programs and services, including fitness classes, personal training, and wellness programs.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new fitness programs and services, working closely with our management team to ensure alignment with our business goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. exercise science, kinesiology) preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience as a fitness instructor, with a strong background in group fitness and customer service.

  • CPR/AED certification required; First Aid certification preferred.

  • Group Exercise Certification (e.g. ACE, AFAA, NASM) required.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform exercises specific to assigned classes.
