Position Overview:

You will play a crucial role in ensuring passenger safety while adhering to operational protocols and delivering outstanding customer service.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of terminal, airside, and landside areas to guarantee compliance with safety and security standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support to passengers regarding general flight information, guidelines, and directions.
  • Screen items and equipment entering the secure area in accordance with TSA regulations.
  • Utilize multi-channel radio communication to effectively relay operational updates.
  • Maintain vigilance for potential hazards, including fire, sanitation, and slip or trip risks, and respond appropriately.
  • Investigate security door alarms and escalate issues to the relevant authorities when necessary.
  • Prepare incident reports for emergencies and other significant occurrences as required.
  • Perform routine inspections of perimeter fencing, parking areas, roadways, and ramp zones.
  • Conduct continuous security sweeps of terminal facilities to identify prohibited items or suspicious devices.
  • Monitor vehicle traffic at the terminal entrance, ensuring no vehicles are left unattended or parked for extended periods without active loading or unloading.
  • Manage passenger flow when access points to secure areas are open, preventing unauthorized entry.
  • Oversee ramp activities to ensure adherence to airport safety and security regulations.
  • Inspect parking facilities to confirm vehicle security, assess terminal infrastructure for damage, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Assist passengers in the short-term parking area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License (Texas Driver's License required within 90 days of employment).
  • Successful completion of a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Security Threat Assessment and a Criminal History Records check upon hiring.
  • Maintain federally mandated security clearance necessary for airport employment at all times.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work in challenging conditions, including extreme temperatures and time-sensitive tasks.
