Key Responsibilities

  • Support the lead teacher in creating engaging lesson plans and implementing daily activities for children in our care.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Contribute to behavior management strategies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children.
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to identify and address the unique needs of each child, tailoring our approach to meet their individual requirements.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a daycare, toddler care, or preschool setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Familiarity with working with children with special needs, including autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patient, empathetic, and genuinely passionate about working with young children.
