Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Utility Groundsman to perform physical labor tasks at our construction projects. This role involves operating various hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, and removing waste materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all project work meets installation standards and is performed safely and correctly
- Promote and monitor the safety of team members
- Prepare sites to optimize construction work procedures
- Clean debris, trash, and hazardous materials from construction sites
- Dig trenches as instructed
- Assist in installing drill tooling and pipe
- Place traffic signs to warn traffic of construction
- Clean and maintain construction equipment
- Load and unload equipment from trucks
- F fill potholes to facilitate construction
- Train apprentices and new hires in construction labor work
Requirements:
- High school diploma (Preferred)
- Knowledge of UG/Lin installation techniques and standards
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain Class A CDL License in 6 months
Salary Estimate: $55,000 - $80,000 per year
