Job Summary:
CommonSpirit Health is seeking a highly skilled RN Supervisor to lead our PACU team in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of service. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising clinical staff, and collaborating with management to maintain continuity and quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of clinical staff in the PACU, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Provide effective mentoring and acclimation of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Assist with administrative duties, education activities, and quality initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the department.
- Participate in interdepartmental collaboration and communication, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, with a BSN or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Two years' experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty.
- One year Charge nurse or equivalent experience required.
- Certification in clinical specialty preferred.
