Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform CT scans on patients, adhering to radiation safety protocols and ensuring accurate image quality.
  • Patient Preparation: Explain examination procedures to patients, prepare them for the scan, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Image Analysis: Analyze CT images to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide high-quality images for radiologists to interpret.
  • Communication: Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnoses.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry eligible.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning or related field; experience with CT equipment and radiation safety protocols preferred.
