Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Winbro Group Technologies. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our EDM, ECM, and Laser machine tools, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and high-pressure water systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers during the installation, commissioning, and servicing of our manufactured machinery.
  • Wiring and Commissioning: Wire and commission our range of machines in the US, working directly to schematic drawings.
  • Diagnosis and Rectification: Diagnose fault conditions and rectify minor discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Setup and Inspection: Set up, inspect, and test electrical and mechanical systems in a safe and controlled environment.
  • Breakdown Resolution: Promptly identify and resolve Winbro manufactured machinery issues and breakdowns to ensure effective right-first-time repair.
  • Technical Upgrades: Install and commission technical upgrade packages from mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings, as well as software and firmware updates.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing preventive and reactive maintenance at customer sites, and responding to service requests in a timely manner.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and service training both internally and externally, while maintaining professional and technical knowledge.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement effort and support multiple teams.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately complete written and PC-based maintenance records.
  • Reporting: Provide periodic reports to management, including customer complaints, trends, and suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
  • Electrical Bias: The successful candidate will have an electrical bias and be flexible to work locally to Rock Hill and travel around the country when needed.
  • Field Service Experience: Minimum 3 years of field service experience.
  • PC-Based CNC Equipment: Detailed working knowledge of PC-based CNC equipment and drive systems as applied to complex 5-axis CNC machine tools.
