Job Title: Admissions Specialist

Bradford Health Services is a leading provider of addiction treatment programs, with 25 facilities across six southeastern states. We are seeking an experienced Admissions Specialist to join our team at our Warrior, AL campus.

Job Summary:

This role involves interacting with potential clients, referral sources, and internal stakeholders to facilitate the pre-admission process. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting relevant information, motivating patients to seek treatment, and ensuring a smooth transition into our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer inbound calls, build rapport with clients, and gather initial information for our CRM system.
  • Complete pre-admissions screenings, comparing against established intake criteria, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate patient insurance and financial eligibility, discussing financial terms with clients and family members.
  • Motivate patients to start treatment, providing information on suggested levels of care and available resources.
  • Advocate for patients, clearing roadblocks to admission and ensuring a seamless transition into our programs.
  • Collect, record, and convey pertinent client information to supervisors, clinical teams, and other staff, as necessary.
  • Provide referrals to patients, connecting them with appropriate resources in their areas.
  • Send follow-up materials, including screening summary letters and drug screens, to referral sources where warranted.
  • Ensure HIPAA and 42 C.F.R. Part 2 regulations are followed to protect patient health information.
  • Track potential patients not admitted to the appropriate level of care, following up where necessary to convert to admission.
  • Complete assigned trainings and competencies, maintaining accurate documentation in our CRM system.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of undergraduate studies or 5 years relevant work experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with CRSS certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency and customer service/sales experience required.
  • Computer data entry skills required, with 40 wpm typing speed.
  • Customer Relationship Management software experience preferred.
