Job Summary:

The School of Nursing and Health Studies at The University of Miami is seeking a part-time temporary lecturer to teach Anatomy Lab and Physiology Labs. This is a faculty position that requires teaching, advising, and evaluating student performances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage own teaching as agreed with the Dean of School and Associate Dean.
  • Responsible for the record-keeping associated with teaching and the preparation of teaching materials.
  • Be responsible for practical/clinical work where applicable, and advise students on hands-on experiences/techniques.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess a master's (or higher) degree in Anatomy, Physiology or Biology or related field, or hold a medical or dental degree.
  • Teaching experience at the University/College level is preferred.
  • Ability to use appropriate technology and software in teaching.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other professors teaching Anatomy.
