Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the fuel console, lottery machine, and other equipment.
  • Perform multi-function duties as needed, including receiving and verifying vendor deliveries and controlling merchandise and cash shortages.
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Working Conditions

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with occasional exposure to extreme cold temperatures, noise, and physical demands. You will be required to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds, and push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
