Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at BJC. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patient medication use to ensure optimal therapy and minimize adverse effects.
- Initiate and modify medication orders based on patient condition and age-specific criteria.
- Supervise and direct supportive personnel to ensure accurate medication preparation and dispensing.
- Counsel and educate patients and healthcare staff on medication use and safety.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees to promote medication therapy services and optimize patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Illinois.
- Preferred: Doctorate in Pharmacy and 2-5 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting.
