Procurement Specialist

Pennsylvania Transformer Technology, LLC is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support the acquisition of materials and services necessary for the organization's operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices and manage purchase orders.
• Review and analyze supplier quotes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure seamless transactions and meet company needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and reviewing purchase requisitions, drawings, and specifications from engineering.
• Sending RFQs with necessary information and negotiating prices with suppliers.
• Receiving and reviewing master schedules to understand material requirement dates and release purchase orders accordingly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
• Two to four years' experience in manufacturing and ERP systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineering background or working experience in the Transformer industry.
• Proficient in English and Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions:

This position will require long hours of sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain.

Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Office dress is business casual.
