Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at the State of Michigan. As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading the interdisciplinary treatment team in a child and adolescent psychiatric hospital. Your leadership will be instrumental in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and direct the professional assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment, discharge planning, performance improvement, and clinical programming activities of the treatment team.

* Share on-call responsibilities to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

* Possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.

* Completion of a psychiatric residency program and at least one year of experience as a psychiatrist in a mental health, clinic, program, or correctional facility.

* Possession of a license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery in Michigan.
