Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team at Community Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the interventional radiology department, including administering moderate sedation and recovering patients after procedures.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in all radiology/diagnostic imaging modalities, including fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and MRI.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Requirements
  • Current state RN license.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) and/or certification in Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical Care.
  • Critical thinking skills to anticipate and prevent deterioration in patient stability during and after procedures.
  • Experience in assisting with set up of invasive lines such as arterial lines.
  • PALS and pediatric sedation experience.
