Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to join our team at Ingredion. As a Quality Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze samples and monitor conformance to specifications to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide technical and professional assistance to operations management as needed to support quality goals.
  • Utilize project management, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and effective communication methodologies to drive quality initiatives.
  • Motivate and support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with delivery and/or follow-up/verification activities as required.
  • Assist with GMP, internal, 3rd party, customer, and regulatory audits as needed.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to participate in plant safety initiatives and safe laboratory practices.
  • Perform other work as assigned by management.
  • Identify and participate in improvement activities and projects, analyzing, recommending, and implementing process improvements to drive organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create control charts for summarizing data collection and testing performance.
  • Ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships.
  • Ability to communicate across functional lines and at all levels.
  • Ability to learn and apply Ingredion's Safety, Environmental, GMP, and Quality standards.
Eligibility
  • Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor's Degree Program.
  • If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior, or non-graduating senior.
